CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After leading her team to two Ivy League victories this past week, Taylor Docter, of the women’s volleyball team, has been selected as the COOP Athlete of the Week.
Docter propelled the Crimson to a come-from-behind win over Columbia Friday night, tallying a team-leading 17 kills, just one shy of her career high. She also added five clutch service aces and four digs to her stat line. Docter continued her solid play in Saturday’s home defeat of Cornell, leading Harvard with 13 kills. She also contributed two blocks and six digs in that match.
Docter is currently the team leader in kills (122), kills per set (2.14), points (149.5), points per set (2.6) and service aces (18). She is also second on the team in digs, registering 111 this season.
