CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a week in which he scored 24 and 19 points to help Harvard secure two victories, Keith Wright has been selected as the COOP Athlete of the Week for Nov. 29.
In a midweek matchup at Bryant, Wright lit up the scorebook with 24 points, a career-high, and 10 boards. He also assisted on Christian Webster’s game-winning three-pointer over the Bulldogs. Wright followed that performance with 19 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three blocks as the Crimson toppled Colorado on Sunday. The victory is the first for Harvard over a BCS opponent at home since Dec. 1, 2007, when Harvard beat Michigan.
Wright already has two double-doubles this season and leads all Crimson scorers, averaging 17.2 points per game. Wright also leads Harvard in rebounds per game, tallying 8.8 per contest and blocks, swatting away 10 shots already this season.
