CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Ali Farag of the Harvard men’s squash team has been named co-Harvard COOP Athlete of the Week for March 5. The sophomore gave the Crimson its second national champion in three years with a 3-0 win in the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships in Amherst, Mass., March 4. Farag swept Ramit Tandon of Columiba in the title match, his third sweep in as many matches at the tournament. The Cairo, Egypt native, who finished the season with a 16-0 record, is Harvard’s 34th winner of the Pool Trophy, given to the nation’s individual tournament champion.
