CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore Will Walker of the men’s lacrosse team was named COOP Athlete of the Week for the week of March 24.
Walker helped Harvard overcome an early 2-0 deficit, when he found the back of the net to put his team on the scoreboard just 25 seconds into the second quarter as the Crimson went on a 7-0 run en route to a, 16-7, victory over Dartmouth. The sophomore paced the offense with a career-high five goals on just six shots, the most for Harvard since Jeff Cohen ’12 scored seven times against Michigan March 31, 2012. On the year, Walker has racked up 18 goals and two assists.
Harvard returns to non-conference action when the Crimson heads to No. 3/4 Duke Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m.
