Patrick Robinson of the baseball team has been selected as the COOP Student-Athlete of the Week for the span of April 11-17.
Robinson co-led the Ivy League with five home runs on the week, hitting .583/.615/1.833 over five games. He also tallied a hit in each contest, including two hits twice against Yale. Robinson homered in three-straight games, including a two-HR game in the second contest of the series vs. Yale. He currently Holds the Ivy League lead in average and slugging percentage, as well as extra-base hits. Robinson paired with Josh Ellis as just the second pair of teammates in program history to each have multiple home runs in the same game.
Harvard will take on Boston College in the Beanpot Championship April 19 at Fenway Park. The Crimson will look for its fifth Beanpot title with first pitch approximated around 6 p.m. on the Ivy League Digital Network.
