Beth Ann Clyde joined the Harvard athletic communications office in August 2012.
A native of Somerset, N.J., Clyde served as a sports information graduate assistant at Ithaca College. She assisted with the publicity of Ithaca’s 26 varsity sports and worked as the media relations director for the club rugby team.
Clyde assisted SUNY Stony Brook with game-day media operations for the 2012 Women’s Lacrosse Final Four. She previously interned with the Statistics & Information Group at ESPN and worked in the group sales department for the Trenton Thunder, AA-affiliate of the New York Yankees.
Clyde graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. At Syracuse, she worked as an executive producer, reporter and anchor for CitrusTV, the student television station. During her term as Executive Producer of CitrusTV’s On the Bench, the show received the Open Student Television Network award for “Best Collegiate Sports Show.”
Clyde is completing her master’s degree in sport management at Ithaca College and lives in Brighton, Mass.
