Harvard provides broad-based programming and the opportunity to learn life-lessons through participation in both competitive and recreational activities.
INTERCOLLEGIATE VARSITY TEAMS. Harvard fields the largest Division I intercollegiate program in the country with 42 teams and more than 1,000 student-athletes.
CLUB SPORTS. Harvard recognizes 63 club sports with more than 2,000 participants. Students are responsible for leadership, decision-making, organization and supervision of all club activities.
INTRAMURALS. Harvard sponsors expansive house and freshman intramural programs for undergraduates with more than 3,000 students participating in over 1,500 annual athletic contests.
RECREATION. Harvard offers a breadth of recreational opportunities and programming for the well-being of the entire community.
