BROCKTON, Mass. - The Harvard baseball team will take on Boston College in the opening round of the annual Beanpot Tournament at 3 p.m. today. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, Mass. The game can be heard live online via the WHRB student broadcast. Live stats will also be available.
Harvard enters the game following a 13-12 victory over Northeastern yesterday. Boston College also played a tuneup game yesterday, losing to Massachusetts, 8-4. UMass and Northeastern play tonight at 7 p.m.
The winners and losers of today's games will meet next Wednesday in the consolation and championship games of the Beanpot. Those games will also be played in Brockton as the Boston Red Sox have a homestand next week.
