CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The 2012 Harvard Football schedule is now available and Tim Murphy's Crimson will play six of its 10 games at Harvard Stadium for the first time since the 2003 season.
The defending Ivy League champion Crimson is in search for a fourth Ivy League title in the last six years.
The Crimson opens its season Sept. 15 at home against the University of San Diego in a 1 p.m. start. The following week, Harvard travels to Brown for a game still yet to be determined. On Sept. 28 Harvard returns home for a 7 p.m. game against Holy Cross where the Crimson puts it undefeated home night game record on the line against the Crusaders.
The Holy Cross game kicks off a three-game home stand with the Crimson also hosting Cornell (Oct. 6, 1 p.m.) as well as a second-straight home date with Bucknell (Oct. 13, 1 p.m.).
Harvard travels to Princeton on Oct. 20 (time tba) and will visit Dartmouth Oct. 26 in a 5 p.m. evening game in Hanover, N.H.
Harvard returns to The Stadium Nov 3 with a 1 p.m. game against Columbia before taking to the road one final time, Nov. 10, at Penn (time tba).
Harvard and Yale square off in the 129th edition of The Game at Harvard Stadium at noon on Nov. 17.
