Harvard's Treavor Scales Named Ivy League co-Offensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard senior running back Treavor Scales (Stone Mountain, Ga.) has been named the Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week for a second-straight time in an announcement by the league office Monday afternoon.

Scales shared this week's award with Cornell junior quarterback Jeff Matthews. Harvard's back scored a career-high four touchdowns, including three in the second half, en route to 136 rushing yards and leading the Crimson to a 45-31 road win at Brown.

Scales, now with seven 100-yard rushing games in his career, leads the nation with 18.0 points per game and is fourth in rushing at better than 8.4 yards per carry. His performance put him into a tie for fifth place on Harvard's all-time rushing list (2,130) with the legendary Vic Gato '69.

Harvard is back in action this Friday, Sept. 28, when the Crimson hosts Holy Cross in a 7 p.m. game under the lights of Harvard Stadium. The game can be viewed live on
