Juszczyk Named to Fourth All-America Team

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Harvard senior tight end Kyle Juszczyk added yet another All-America honor on Monday with the Medina, Ohio native being selected by The Sports Network to its second team.

Juszczyk has now been named to four different teams already this season and was also a 2011 selection. Harvard has had at least one All-American in each of the last 14 years.

Juszczyk led the Ivy League with eight touchdown receptions and led a potent Harvard team with 52 catches for 706 yards (13.6 ypc). For his career, he set the mark for all Harvard tight ends with 125 catches for 1,576 yards and 22 touchdowns.

The AFCA has selected an All-America team since 1945 and currently selects teams in all five of its divisions. What makes these teams so special is that they are the only ones chosen exclusively by the men who know the players the best — the coaches themselves.

Harvard went 8-2 overall and defeated Yale, 34-24 to earn a program-record sixth straight win over the Bulldogs as well as the 11th victory over the Elis in the last 12 years. The season marked Harvard's Ivy League-record 12th-straight season with at least seven wins – with no other Ivy team even having seven such seasons.
