CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard football team will honor police, firefighters and military personnel who serve and have served the nation Saturday, as the Crimson plays host to Dartmouth at 5 p.m. Harvard has scheduled numerous events for the day.
All active or retired members of the armed forces as well as any local police or firefighters receive four free tickets with proof of service at the ticket window.
Members of the Wounded Warrior's 4-with-1 program, which allows Warriors the opportunity to attend Harvard athletics events and have a unique experience, will be in attendance Saturday. The following groups will also attend the game against Dartmouth:
- Harvard Veterans Alumni Organization
- HKS Armed Forces Committee
- HBS Armed Forces Committee
- Home Base Program
- Hanscom Air Force Base
- Paralyzed Veterans of America
- Massachusetts National Guard
- United Service Organizations
The Crimson will be selling H-shield camouflage hats at the game for $12. The proceeds will be donated to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans.
As it has for every home game this season, the Harvard-MIT Navy ROTC will present the colors before the national anthem.
