Zach Hodges is one of two finalists for Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year (Gil Talbot).
NEW YORK, N.Y. - In partnership with the National Football Foundation (NFF), the 2013 Asa S. Bushnell Cup Presentation, recoginizing the Ivy League Football Players of the Year, will be streamed live for free on the Ivy League Digital Network.
The 2013 presentation of the Asa S. Bushnell Cup is Monday, Dec. 9, the day before the NFF Annual Awards Dinner, at a special reception and press conference. Festivites will get underway at Noon in the Vanderbilt Room of the famed Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York City. The stream will begin at 12:25 p.m., with the presentation commencing at 12:30 p.m.
The Ivy League's Defensive Player of Year will be announced from the two finalists -- Harvard junior defensive end Zach Hodges and Princeton defensive lineman Caraun Reid -- and the Offensive Player of the Year will be announced from the two finalists -- Princeton quarterback Quinn Epperly and Brown running back John Spooney.
The NFF and the Ivy League are partnering for the fourth consecutive year to co-host the presentation of the Asa S. Bushnell Cup. The four finalists, along with their head coaches, will be on hand at the presentation.
Last year, Harvard quarterback Colton Chapple was honored as Ivy Offensive Player of the Year. The Crimson also had the Defensive Player of the Year in 2011 (Josue Ortiz, DT) and the conference's top offensive player in 2010 (Gino Gordon, RB).
