Scott Lukas joined Harvard football as its football operations coordinator in August 2011 and enters his fifth season on staff in 2015. Since his arrival, Harvard has captured three Ivy League championships, including the 2014 title after an undefeated season.
In addition to his day-to-day duties with the coaching staff, Lukas assumed oversight of the program's Friends group in 2012 and coordinates community outreach and events with the program's vast network of alumni.
Lukas came to Harvard after spending a year as the director of football operations for the University of New Hampshire.
Before focusing on football, Lukas spent the 2009-10 academic year as the director of athletic operations and tickets at Bryant University. He was responsible for the planning and execution of all varsity athletic events for all 24 programs, supervising the maintenance of all varsity athletic facilities and managing ticket operations for all home and away varsity games.
Lukas is a 2009 graduate of Saint Anselm College with a degree in English. While at Saint Anselm, Lukas worked as the student assistant for the football team. As the team manager, his primary duties consisted of assisting in drills during practice, charting plays and statistics and managing all aspects of home and away game preparation. Lukas was awarded a varsity letter with the program.
