Dickson and McGillivray Named to All-Northeast Region Team

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomores Carly
Dickson and Georgia McGillivray have been named to the 2009
Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Northeast
Region second team, the NFHCA announced Thursday.
Dickson, a midfielder for the Crimson, ranked second on the team
in points with 17 on five goals and seven assists. A native of
Victoria, B.C., Dickson has started in all 33 games she has played
for Harvard. This is her second year being named to the all-region
team. Additionally, she was named second-team All-Ivy League this
season.
McGillivray, a back from Victoria, B.C., had nine points on the
season with two goals and five assists. She started all 17 games
for the Crimson this season and has started all 34 in her career.
She recorded a defensive save against Northeastern Sept. 30.
The Crimson has had at least one all-region pick every season
since 1984.
