Before Harvard
Won three varsity letters each in field hockey and lacrosse at
Severn School, garnering national all-academic honors in each sport
as a senior … Earned conference all-star selection in field
hockey twice … Also as a senior, made Maryland senior
all-star team and Washington Post all-league team and
received field hockey Coaches Award and Class of ’23 Athletic
Graduation Award … Also played ice hockey, helping the Navy
Under-19 girls’ team win its league championship and reach
the Southern District playoffs in 2010 … A two-year ice
hockey captain … A member of the National Honor Society,
French Honor Society and Cum Laude Society … A Maryland
Distinguished Scholar … Served as senior prefect, peer
counselor and volunteer at Lighthouse Shelter and Chrysallis
House.
Personal
Father, Ken Code ’84, captained the Harvard men’s ice
hockey team and uncle, Murray Dea ’79, also played ice hockey
for the Crimson.
