CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Senior midfielder Carly Dickson has been named Ivy League Player of the Week after leading the Harvard field hockey team to a pair of weekend wins.
In Saturday's 4-1 Ivy win against Penn, co-captain scored the Crimson's second goal and set up the third. She was a force throughout the game, leading all players with five shots, including three on goal. On Sunday against Bryant, Dickson set up the game-tying goal as Harvard came from behind to win the game, 2-1.
Dickson shares the Crimson team scoring lead with eight points in seven games this season. She has a team-high four assists.
The Victoria, B.C., native is Harvard's second Ivy weekly honoree of the season. Sydney Jenkins was named Rookie of the Week Sept. 5.
