Caples' Appointment not Renewed

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Harvard will not renew the appointment of Sue Caples, head coach for Harvard field hockey, beyond the 2011-12 season. A national search for a successor will be conducted.

Players were notified of the decision on Friday.   

Caples recently completed her 24^th season as head coach, during which Harvard produced an overall record of 8-9 and 3-4 in the Ivy League for a fifth place finish. Her career record stood at 197-205-9.
