CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's basketball team unveiled its 2011 Ivy League championship banner and held its Crimson and Black Scrimmage during the inaugural "Crimson Madness", with the Crimson squad earning a 40-31 victory before a full Lavietes Pavilion Saturday afternoon.
Prior to the scrimmage, the Crimson honored last year's Ivy League championship team, which went 12-2 in conference play and went 23-7 overall en route to the program's first conference crown and first bid in the NIT.
During the scrimmage, Keith Wright led all players with 16 points, while Brandyn Curry added 13 points for the Crimson team. Kyle Casey led the Black team with seven points, while freshmen Kenyatta Smith and Jonah Travis chipped in with six points apiece.
