Harvard stands at 24-4 overall and 10-2 in the Ivy League (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men's basketball team will visit Cornell in the final game of the regular season Saturday, March 3 at 7 p.m. The game will be shown live on ESPN3.com.
Harvard, which plays at Columbia Friday, March 2, holds a one-half game lead in the Ivy League standings with two games remaining on its schedule. The Crimson stands at 10-2 in the Ancient Eight, while Penn (9-2) and Yale (9-3) are second and third, respectively.
If the Crimson wins both games this weekend, Harvard would clinch at least a share of the program's second straight Ivy League title. Two Harvard wins and a loss by Penn in any of the Quakers' three remaining games would clinch the outright Ivy League crown and the conference's automatic NCAA tournament berth to the Crimson.
