Harvard head coach Tommy Amaker was joined by the other Division I head coaches from Boston (Harvard Athletic Communications).
BOSTON -- The four local men's Division I college basketball head coaches hosted a panel discussion at the first annual Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Breakfast in the State Street Pavilion at Fenway Park Wednesday morning.
Harvard's Tommy Amaker, Northeastern's Bill Coen, Boston College's Steve Donahue, Joe Jones from Boston University and ESPN college basketball analyst Seth Greenberg joined media members and guests in an interactive forum that offered previews of the upcoming season and touched upon other topics related to college basketball in Boston and across the nation.
Proceeds from the breakfast benefited Coaches vs. Cancer, a nation-wide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
