Casey will continue his career playing in the Premier A Slovenian League (Joel Broida).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Kyle Casey '13-14 has signed a professional contract with Helios Domzale of the Slovenian League.
Casey was a four-time All-Ivy League selection at Harvard and was voted as the league's Rookie of the year in 2010. The Medway, Mass., native averaged 10.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg for his career, graduating in May ranked 13th in program history for career points (1,242), 10th for career rebounds (654) and third for career blocks (127). Casey, who helped the Crimson reach the third round of the NCAA tournament in 2014 after capturing a fourth consecutive Ivy League title, led the team with four double-doubles and scored in double-figures 18 times.
Helios Domzale competes in the Premier A Slovenian League where it reached the semifinals of the playoffs last season after finishing third in the regular season standings. Helios won the Slovenian Cup in 2007 and also finished as runners –up in 2008, 2011 and 2013.
