Kevin Rhoads has won the Ivy League title in four of the last six seasons (Harvard Athletic Communications).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Kevin Rhoads, Harvard's head coach for men's and women's golf, has been honored as the 2013 PGA New England Teacher of the Year, it was announced this week.
Rhoads, who is in his 10th season as Harvard's women's golf coach and second season as the Crimson's men's head coach, also reached the PGA New England Teach of the Year Award in 2008.
A former professional player and a teaching pro at some of the finest facilities in the nation, Rhoads was recognized by Golf Digest in 2010 as one of the nation's Top 20 teachers under 40 years old.
During his tenure at Harvard, Rhoads has led the Crimson women's team to Ivy League titles in four of the last six seasons. The Harvard women have also earned four of the last five Ivy Rookie of the Year honors and Christine Cho '12 was tabbed Ancient Eight Player of the Year in 2010.
