    Ten Senior Student-Athletes Honored with Phi Beta Kappa Induction The Phi Beta Kappa honor society completed its final inductions just before graduation last week, inducting six Harvard student-athletes as Final Seniors. The six new inductees join the Alpha Chapter of Massachusetts, along with the two Senior 48 and two Junior 24 selections to give the Class of 2015 a total of 10 student-athletes inducted into the prestigious organization.

    Men's Golf Tunes Up for Ivy Championships at Yale Spring Invitational After two weeks spent working diligently on their golf games, the Crimson arrived at the Course at Yale eager for this year’s installment of Yale’s Spring Invitational. Measuring 6,775 yards to a par of 70, the Course at Yale features large and well-bunkered green complexes typical for MacDonald-designed courses as well as rolling fairways. The team was excited to be back on familiar property amidst stiff competition that included five teams ranked in the top 40 nationally.

    Vinar Leads Men's Golf to Third-Place Finish at Met Intercollegiate Harvard Men’s Golf left for The Met Intercollegiate on Thursday April 2, after a diligent practice session at the McGolf driving range just outside of Boston. The Met Intercollegiate is one of two spring tournaments hosted by Yale—both of which bring together some of the best schools in the Northeast. This tournament is unique in its setup, as the tournament involves 36 holes in one day with 18 holes taking place at each of the two host courses.

    Men's Golf Opens Spring Slate with Strong Showing at Seahawk Intercollegiate The Crimson opened its spring season at the Seahawk Intercollegiate hosted by UNC Wilmington this past weekend with a fifth-place finish out of 14 teams. The team was led by freshman Greg Royston ’18 who finished in the top 10. After practicing indoors for many of the weeks leading up to the event, the men were excited to travel south and compete against strong teams from around the country.

Little fuel was needed to stoke the competitive fires. In addition to the long-standing rivalry between the two universities, Harvard had played in Yale’s MacDonald Cup two weeks earlier and had finished one stroke behind Yale on it’s home course.

    Men's Golf Wins at Quechee Club Invitational, Royston Takes Second After a productive two-week break from tournament golf, the Harvard men’s golf team recorded its best finish of the season, winning the inaugural Quechee Club Invitational by eight shots over Hartford. This was backed up by great individual performances from two freshmen Greg Royston ’18 and Hale Furey ’18, who finished tied second and tied fourth, respectively.
