PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard men's golf recorded a plus-6 finish to take second overall at the Princeton Invitational over the weekend. The Crimson shot a 293-284-281 at the Springdale Golf Club.
Leading the Crimson was sophomore Aurian Capart, who finished four under for the three-day event, one of just three players to finish under par. Capart finished second overall, shooting an even 71 on day one and nearing the leader on day two with a score of 66. The Bousval, Belgium posted a 72 on day three.
Senior Kendrick Vinar fought back from a 76 on day one to register rounds of 70-71 and tie for No. 11 with a tally of plus-4.
Harvard came in five strokes behind winner Seton Hall (853).
Harvard will be back in action April 21 in Greenwich, Connecticut at the Stanwich Golf Club for the Ivy League Championship.
