  • Robert Jones IV Reflects on Grandfather's Time at Harvard, Endowed Coaching Position

    Earlier this fall, Sanjeev K. Mehra '82 and his wife Karen Petersen Mehra '82 graciously supported the establishment of the Bobby Jones ’24 Coach for Harvard Men's Golf, Endowed by the Mehra Family. The endowment was celebrated at The Country Club on Sept. 15 with friends and family of Harvard men's golf, including Bobby Jones' grandson, Robert Tyre Jones IV, Psy.D. Following the event, Robert Tyre Jones IV reflected on his grandfather's legacy and time at Harvard. 
  • Men’s Golf Wraps Up Fall Season

    Challenged by some of the top programs in the country, the Harvard men’s golf team wrapped up its fall season at the Alister MacKenzie Tournament, hosted by California. The team finished 15th overall, carding consistent rounds of 294-292-294 for a score of 880, 28 over par.
  • Men’s Golf Set to Close Out Fall Season in California

    The Harvard men’s golf team will compete in its final tournament of the fall season next Monday and Tuesday at California’s Alister MacKenzie. This will be the Crimson’s first trip west of the Mississippi since November 2015 when the men appeared in the Gifford Collegiate hosted by UCLA. The two day tournament will feature three rounds (two on Monday, one on Tuesday) and will be scored live on Golfstat.
  • Men’s Golf Sinks Third at Yale’s Macdonald Cup

    This past weekend, Harvard men’s golf placed third out of 14 teams at the Macdonald Cup hosted by Yale. The Crimson combined for a total score of 874, plus 34. Highlighting the Harvard lineup was junior Aurian Capart, who placed first among Ivy League competitors, fourth overall and was just two strokes off the number two spot (72-68-72, +2). 
  • Men’s Golf Aims for Third-Straight Macdonald Cup

    The Harvard men’s golf team will play for its third-straight Macdonald Cup this weekend at The Course at Yale. The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Saturday and another 18 on Sunday.
  • Crimson Men’s Golf Earns Third at Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge
    September 23, 2017
    The Harvard men’s golf team posted a third-place finish (586, +10) at Dartmouth’s Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge this weekend. Leading the group was senior captain Greg Royston who tied for third in a field of 86 competitors with round scores of 70 and 73 on the club’s par 72 Highland Course.
  • Men’s Golf Continues Season at Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge

    The Harvard men’s golf team will continue the 2017-18 season this coming weekend at the Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge hosted by Dartmouth in Quechee, Vt. The tournament will consist of two rounds, 18 holes each day of competition.

    Bob Scalise, The John D. Nichols ’53 Family Director of Athletics, and Harvard University are excited to announce the 23rd endowment of a head coaching position: The Bobby Jones ’24 Coach for Harvard Men’s Golf, endowed by the Mehra Family.
  • Men’s Golf Finishes Fifth at Doc Gimmler

    The Harvard men’s golf team opened the 2017-18 season with a fifth-place finish at the Doc Gimmler, hosted by St. John’s at the Bethpage State Park Red Course. In total, 14 teams and 78 individuals competed in the two-day event.
  • Men’s Golf to Open Season at Doc Gimmler

    The Harvard men’s golf team is set to open the 2017-18 season Sept. 9-10 at the Doc Gimmler hosted by St. John’s. The team will play two rounds on Saturday and one on Sunday to round out the tournament. The Crimson will compete against 13 other programs at the Bethpage State Park Red Course in Farmingdale, N.Y.
  • Harvard Alum Mike Fucito named Assistant Coach for Men’s Golf

    Mike Fucito, a 2009 graduate of Harvard College, has been added as the Men’s Assistant Coach for Golf as announced by the Paul M. Weissman Director of Harvard Golf, Fred Schernecker ’89. Fucito returns to Harvard after graduating as a highly-decorated member of the men’s soccer program.
