Daniel Joseph joined the Harvard staff as a coaching assistant with the Crimson men's golf team on Sept. 14, 2012.

During his second season with the Crimson in 2014, Harvard earned a third-place finish at the Ivy League Championships, and Theo Lederhausen earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Championshops after becoming the first Harvard men's golfer since 1998 to win the individual Ivy crown.

Joseph, a native of Millis, Mass., attended Xaverian Brothers High School is Westwood, Mass., where he was a three-sport athlete.  A graduate of Penn State’s Professional Golf Management program, Joseph is an assistant golf professional at The Country Club and has worked at TCC for the past five seasons.  He also competes on the New England Professional Golf Association tournament circuit.

Emblematic of his pursuit of excellence, Joseph has sought out employment at the best facilities working with the best mentors available.   In addition to working with Brendan Walsh at TCC, Daniel has worked at Pebble Beach Golf Links, and with Bob Ford at both Oakmont Country Club and Seminole Golf Club.  Joseph has worked at the last five Master’s Tournaments and during the winter of 2012 he worked at Augusta National Golf Club. 

He currently resides in Brighton.
