BOSTON – Before the new school year got in full swing, the Harvard men's hockey team spent one of its final summer days helping one area school prepare for the year. Members of the Crimson hockey team spent five hours on August 28 at the Cristo Rey Boston, performing a variety of duties to assist the administration in prepping the school for the return of its students.

Cristo Rey Boston is a school that serves underprivileged youth in the area. During their time at the school, Harvard's hockey team painted, moved heavy furniture and helped clean up the outside of the building.

"We basically helped them with whatever they asked," stated co-captain Kyle Criscuolo. "Most of us painted doors and stairwells, while other moved some furniture and other heavy items. We chatted with some students that were around and met a few of the teachers."

Harvard hockey looks forward to a continued relationship with the school, including welcoming them to Bright-Landry Hockey Center for a game this season.
