CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- In preparation for the
upcoming 2010 season, the 12th-ranked Harvard men's lacrosse team
will hold its first practice of the year in the bubble at Harvard
Stadium Monday, Feb. 1 at midnight.
The Crimson, which is guided by John Tillman, The Frisbie Family
Head Coach for Harvard Men's Lacrosse, is ranked 12th in the
preseason LaxNews poll. Harvard finished 2009 with
an 8-5 overall record, going 3-3 in Ivy League games, and reached
as high as No. 11 in the national rankings during Tillman's second
season on the sideline.
Harvard opens its 2010 campaign by hosting Canisius at Cumnock
Turf Saturday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. In all, the Crimson will
play six home games this spring, including Ivy League contests
against Brown (March 20), Dartmouth (March 27) and Princeton (April
24). Harvard will also welcome non-conference opponents
Colgate (March 16) and Duke (April 2).
