Vaughan Receives USILA Scholar All-America Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior midfielder Kevin Vaughan of the Harvard men's lacrosse team has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-America team, it was announced Wednesday.
Vaughan, who hails from Ridgewood, N.J., was a two-time captain of the Crimson and earned unanimous All-Ivy first team accolades this spring. Vaughan, who earned NEILA All-New England first team and NEILA Senior Scholar-Athlete honors, led the Crimson with 19 assists, while standing third on the team with 17 goals and 36 points.
Prior to the season, Vaughan was selected to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, as well as the Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America third team and Preseason All-Ivy League team. Vaughan, a versatile midfielder, also ranked tied for second on Harvard with 33 ground balls during the 2012 campaign.
