Clark Resigns as Head Men's Soccer Coach

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Jamie Clark has stepped down as
the Virginia B. and James O. Welch ’52 Head Coach for Harvard
Men’s Soccer, to take the head coach position at
Creighton.
Clark, who served as head coach of the Crimson for two seasons,
guided Harvard to a 26-10-1 (.716) overall record, including a
10-3-1 mark (.750) in Ivy League contests. He helped the
Crimson win the program’s 13th Ivy League title in 2009, as
the team went 14-4-1 and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA
tournament. Clark also led the Crimson to a 12-6 overall mark
and the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2008.
In its storied program history, Harvard has advanced to the NCAA
Championships 16 times , including the last four seasons. The
Crimson has won 13 Ivy League championships and has had six players
selected in the MLS SuperDraft, including three in the last two
years.
A national search for a successor is already underway.
