Harvard Men's Soccer Bolsters Roster with Seven Newcomers
Carl Junot and the Crimson open the 2012 season at Massachusetts Aug. 31 (Gil Talbot).
Carl Junot, the Virginia B. and James O. Welch ’52 Head Coach for Harvard Men’s Soccer, will welcome seven incoming freshmen to the Crimson’s squad for the fall of 2012.
Mark Ashby/Defender/Denton, Texas/Denton Ryan
Before Harvard:
Named the All-District Newcomer of the Year for the
2007-2008 season while at Denton Ryan High … That same year
was named the Team Defensive M.V.P for Denton Ryan as well as named
First Team All-District … In 2012 was named the ESPN Rise
No. 83 Recruit out of the top 150 in the country … As a
member of Club Team FC Dallas U-17/18 won the Texas Division three
years in a row … Was a member of the finalist team in the
2011 USSDA national championship … Played in AEGON Future
Cup in Amsterdam for the number one ranked team in the nation in
2012 ... Also excelled in the classroom; Named Valedictorian at
Denton Ryan in 2012 … National Merit Commended and AP
