CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 6 Harvard men's squash team heads north of the border in their first contest of the 2011 calendar year as it takes to the courts against No. 8 Western Ontario in Toronto, Ont. Thursday night.
Last Time Out
Harvard will be seeking to right the ship after dropping its last two matches prior to winter break. The Crimson was downed by Cornell and Rochester in the first two road matches of the season for Harvard.
The Crimson is 3-2 as play picks back up after the New Year. Harvard opened the season with three straight home victories over Brown, Williams and Dartmouth. The match against Western Ontario will be the first neutral site contest for the Crimson.
About Western Ontario
The Mustangs have played one CSA match this season against Rochester on Nov. 5. The Yellowjackets defeated Western Ontario 8-1. The Mustangs did capture three wins at the Jester University West Sectional tournament over McMaster, Waterloo and Brock in Nov.
Last Season's Meetings
Harvard and Western Ontario's only meeting came in the 2010 CSA National Team Championship. The Crimson won that match, 7-2, in New Haven, Conn.
Harvard will return to the Barnaby Courts on Jan. 26 to take on No. 1 Trinity. Match time is slated for 5 p.m.
