CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men's squash team played three Massachusetts opponents in two locations Saturday and came away with three sweeps. The Crimson got past Amherst to start the day before traveling to MIT to defeat the host Engineers and Boston College by identical 9-0 tallies.
In the home opener, the Crimson breezed past Amherst. The top eight players in the lineup swept their way to victories. The top four of Brandon McLaughlin, Gary Power, Nicholas Hopcroft and Tyler Olson had particularly impressive results. The quartet each held their respective opponents to less than ten points over the course of three games.
After making the short trip within Cambridge, Harvard made quick work of MIT and Boston College. With the two sweeps, the Crimson has now swept six of seven matches this season, including five straight.
The Crimson continues its busy weekend with matches against Northeastern (at MIT) at 11:30 a.m., before returning to the Murr Center to face Boston University at 5 p.m.
