Harvard Blanks Boston College in Men's Squash Season Opener

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's squash team dominated its opener against Boston College, sweeping the Eagles, 9-0, at the MIT Round Robin Tournament Friday afternoon.

The No. 3 Crimson (1-0) increased its unbeaten streak in season openers to 35 years with the victory over BC as Harvard swept all but one match on the afternoon.

Sachin Patel narrowly beat Milo Watanabe in the No. 1 position to pick up his first win of the season, while Nikhil Mehra almost blanked Harrison Bacon, topping him 11-0, 11-1, 11-0.

Harvard returns to the courts Nov. 27 against Dartmouth at the Murr Center in its Ivy League opener.
