No. 3 Men's Squash Posts Fifth Shutout, Blanks No. 12 Williams, 9-0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 3 Harvard men's squash team posted its fifth shutout in six matches, blanking No. 12 Williams, 9-0, Wednesday evening at the Murr Center.

The Crimson improved to 6-0 on the year in a hard-fought match against the Ephs.

Brandon McLaughlin made his debut at the No. 1 spot and swept Nick Marks, 11-6, 11-7, 11-2 to earn his third win of the season and one of Harvard's four sweeps on the night. No. 2 Gary Power, No. 5 Thomas Mullaney and No. 7 Jason Michas earned the other three 3-0 victories.

Harvard freshman Matt Roberts outlasted Jake Ervasti, 11-10, 6-11, 11-3, 5-11, 11-9, at the No. 8 position to remain undefeated in his collegiate career.

The Crimson will now break for finals before returning to action Jan. 9 against Bates.
