Juniors Viviana Hanley of the Harvard track and field team and Samuel Sokolsky-Tifft of the men’s squash team earned Phi Beta Kappa’s “Junior 24” honors, selected as the first 24 members of the Class of 2015 to be elected to the organization’s Harvard chapter.

Farag Tabbed Ivy League Player of the Year; Murray Named Rookie of the Year
Senior Ali Farag of the Harvard men’s squash team was named Ivy League Player of the Year while freshman Dylan Murray was tabbed Ivy League Rookie of the Year. Both squash standouts were unanimously selected to the All-Ivy team. Senior co-captain Brandon McLaughlin joins Farag and Murray on the all-conference team.

The No. 1 Harvard men’s squash team solidified itself as the best in the nation on Sunday as the Crimson captured its 31st national championship by taking down No. 2 Trinity, 9-0. Harvard claimed the 2014 Potter Cup thanks to a 3-2 win from senior captain Brandon McLaughlin on court No. 2 to put the Crimson up 5-0 over the defending national champions.
