CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The 2009-10 Harvard men’s swimming and diving team had plenty of highlights throughout the season. From Alex Meyer ’10 capturing three event titles at the Ivy League Championships and earning All-America honors in the 1,650-yard freestyle to rookie diver Michael Stanton taking both boards at the league championships, the Crimson had a stellar year in the pool.
However, in 2010-11, head coach Tim Murphy and the men’s swimmers and divers have their sights set solely on an Ancient Eight Championship, a title Harvard hasn’t held since the 2007-08 season. With a solid core of seniors providing veteran leadership and the 20th-ranked recruiting class in the nation, highest among Ivy schools, the Crimson will seek significant contributions from each class in its Ivy title run.
