Improved Marks Earn Men's Swimming and Diving National Recognition
The Harvard men's swimming and diving team earned national attention for its marks at the annual HYP meet last weekend.
Avida Sports, a company based in Harper Woods, Mich., that specializes in athletic performance analysis, releases weekly rankings to show which teams had the greatest improvement in a given week. With a number of Harvard men's swimmers and divers setting season- or personal-best marks, the Crimson tied the University of Florida for the fastest overall marks last weekend, and placed first in the nation in overall improvement. Harvard experienced a 102.8 percent improvement in its marks to top rival Yale by 0.5 percent.
