Men’s Swimming Sees Six Student-Athletes Earn CSCAA All-America Honorable Mention Nods
Harvard ended the year ranked No. 6 in the CSCAA Mid-Major
poll (Harvard Athletic Communications).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After finishing an extremely close second to Ivy League champion Princeton at the 2011 League Championships, the Harvard men’s swimming and diving team had six team members receive College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Mid-Major All-America Honorable Mention accolades, the organization announced Tuesday. The men’s squad finished the 2010-11 season ranked sixth in the Mid-Major rankings.
A quartet of freshmen highlighted the Harvard group as Spenser Goodman, Oliver Lee, Chris Satterthwaite and Wes Stearns all earned honorable mention nods in their first season with the Crimson. Senior Blake Lewkowitz also earned honorable mention accolades and sophomore Greg Roop rounded out the Harvard representatives. The six swimmers earned a spot on the honorable mention list by attaining NCAA ‘B’ standards in their events during the 2010-11 season.
