Finished sixth in the  400 free relay in 3:03.86 and fourth in the 800 free relay with a time of 6:45.70 at the UNC Invitiational Nov. 19 ... Helped win the 400 free relay (2:59.85) and placed second in the 200 free at No. 8 Ohio State Jan. 21 ... Was a member of the 200 free relay (1:19.17) and 400 free relay (2:53.22) teams that set new school records at the Ivy League Championships ... Earned first team All-Ivy accolades in the 400 free relay and second team All-Ivy accolades in the 200 free relay and 800 free relay ... Earned All-America honorable mention status at the NCAA Championships as a member of Harvard's 800 free relay (13th place) team ... Attended Plano West from 2009-11 and Shepton from 2007-09, swimming for a year at each school … Named Male District Swimmer of the Year, Male Regional Swimmer of the Year and first team all-state as a senior … Plano West record holder in the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 200 IM and 100 backstroke … Texas state champion in the 200 freestyle and runner up in 100 freestyle … Member of Young Men’s Service League 2008-11 and National Junior and National Honors Society … High school teammate of fellow freshman Kyle McIntee.
