INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Four members of the 2013-14 Harvard swimming teams will compete at this week's 2013 Phillips 66 National Championships and World Championship Trials in Indianapolis, Ind., at the University of Indiana Natatorium. Courtney Otto of the women's squad and Chuck Katis, Christian Carbone, Eric Ronda and Jack Manchester on the men's side will all take part in the five-day meet, which starts today.
The event will determine the USA National Team for the 2013 FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain July 16-August 4.
Katis, who has been a part of four Harvard school records during his time in Cambridge, leads the way with four events at the trials. Otto, Ronda and Manchester will each swim in three and Carbone will enter two.
This will be Otto's first competitive action after missing the 2013 Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in March.
