Harvard Doubles Pair Falls in Consolation Draw

NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The doubles pair of sophomore Alistair Felton and freshman Andy Nguyen of the Harvard men’s tennis team fell in the consolation draw of the ITA National Indoor Championships in New Haven, Conn. Felton and Nguyen lost their opening round match Thursday in the main draw to Texas A&M’s Jeff Dadamo and Austin Krajicek, 8-5. In the consolation draw, the duo dropped an 8-3 decision to the second-seeded pair of Moritz Baumann and Marek Michalicka from Wisconsin on Friday. With the loss, Felton and Nguyen were eliminated from the tournament.

Felton and Nguyen qualified for the ITA National Indoor Championships by winning the ITA Northeast Regional doubles crown Oct. 18 in Hanover, N.H.
