LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Junior Jonathan Pearlman won his second consecutive match at the No. 1 singles spot and extended his doubles win streak to six Sunday as the Harvard men's tennis team fell to No. 20 Louisville, 5-2.
Pearlman defeated the Cardinals' Austen Childs, the No. 12 singles player in the country, 6-3, 6-2, at the top singles spot and defeated the doubles team of Robert Hall and Amaury Derognat with his partner Joshua Tchan for his sixth straight doubles win dating back to Feb. 11. Freshman Casey MacMaster also won Sunday at the No. 6 spot to improve to 6-1 this spring.
Harvard will return home to the Murr Center Tennis Courts to host Binghamton in a 5 p.m. dual Friday.
