Harvard Men’s Tennis Announces 2012 Spring Schedule

CAMBRDIGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's tennis team announced its 2012 spring schedule on Thursday, featuring 12 home events. The Crimson welcomes Virginia Tech, Boston University, Boston College, Binghamton, St. John's and Ivy League foes Penn, Princeton, Yale, Brown and Dartmouth.
Harvard opens the 2012 spring schedule hosting two home tournaments, the Harvard Winter Invite (Jan 21) and the Harvard Kick-Off (Jan. 28). The Crimson will then take to the road for three non-conference dual matches with Vanderbilt (Feb. 3), Indiana (Feb. 4) and Butler (Feb. 5). Following the road swing will be a three-way tournament, as the Crimson will play host to Virginia Tech and Boston University at the Murr Tenis Courts.
The Crimson opens Ancient Eight play on April 7-8 when they travel to Cornell and Columbia, respectively. Harvard will benefit from a five match home stand to finish up the year, hosting Penn (April 14), Princeton (April 14), Yale (April 20), Brown (April 22) and Dartmouth (April 28).
