Men's Volleyball Drops 3-0 Decision to Princeton
Cambridge, Mass. – The Harvard
men’s volleyball team dropped its fifth match of the season,
falling to Princeton 3-0 (30-24, 30-23, 30-23), Saturday at Malkin
Athletic Center.
Gil Weintraub led Harvard with 12 kills on the day and a .474
hitting percentage, while also recording 10 assists. Rob Lothman
collected a team-high 20 assists on the afternoon while Eric Kuld
and Matt Jones chipped in nine and six kills, respectively. Nicola
Ivica collected five block assists in the loss.
Princeton’s Vincent Tuminelli led all hitters with 15 kills
while Carl Hamming added 12 for the Tigers. Scott Liljestrom
collected 41 assists for the guests in the win.
The Crimson will look to capture its first win of the season in its
next game as it travels across town to MIT for a 7 p.m. showdown
Wednesday, Feb. 17.
