Harvard Men's Volleyball Cruises Past Rivier in Three Sets

NASHUA, N.H. – The Harvard men's volleyball team (2-0) defeated Rivier, 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-21) and earned its second win of the season. Sophomore Nick Madden turned in his second solid match of the season, leading the Crimson in kills with 12.

Harvard's offense was spurred on by the performances of Madden, senior Matt Jones and freshman DJ White. Jones was second on the team with 11 kills while White contributed seven kills for the Crimson. White also provided stalwart defense leading the team in blocks with 3. This the second straight year that Harvard has opened up 2-0 on the year. 

Harvard will continue its season tomorrow facing former EIVA member, Springfield, in the team's home opener to be played at the Malkin Athletic Center, slated for 7 p.m.
