CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Rising sophomore Branden Clemens has been named to the U21 USA national beach volleyball team and is set to compete at the 2013 U21 World Championships. The tournament is slated for June 20-23 in Umag, Croatia, and features 48 teams vying for the title.

Harvard also spent three weeks in the AVCA Div. I-II poll and earned the highest national ranking in program history at No. 14.
The Carmel, Ind., native averaged 2.33 kps while hitting .255 and adding 1.41 dps. Clemens recorded eight matches with at least 10 kills, including a season-high 19 versus Juniata to go along with a .630 hitting percentage. He registered his first career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs against George Mason.
