Men’s Volleyball Recruiting Class Hailed as Eighth in the Country

Harvard starts its 2015 season at No. 9 Lewis January 16 (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With just over one month remaining until the start of the 2015 season, Harvard's recruiting class was named as the eighth-best in the country by Volleyball Magazine.

Brad Gretsch, Jack Heavey, Marko Kostich and Riley Moore are the four freshmen on the 2015 roster, joining a group that went 15-8 overall and 11-3 in EIVA play a year ago. The group was announced as joining the Crimson in July.

In the article, Volleyball Magazine wrote that  "Harvard has shown itself to be a legit player in the men's college game by snapping up this recruiting class that contains three 2014 Fab 50 selections in Gretsch, Kostich, and Moore. Heavey tore it up during the high school season with more than 500 kills en route to earning an all-state selection."

Harvard opens the 2015 season at No. 9 Lewis and No. 2 Loyola (Ill.) January 16-17 before returning to Cambridge for its home opener January 23 against Ball State.
