Men’s Volleyball Enters AVCA Division I-II Poll at No. 15

Harvard pulled off an upset over No. 14 Ball State on Friday to move into the AVCA rankings (Gil Talbot).

LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the first time this season, and 12th time in program history, the Harvard men's volleyball team was ranked in the AVCA Division I-II Top 15 Poll. The Crimson checked in at No. 15.

Harvard earned its first ranking on April 9, 2012 at No. 15 overall, and the Crimson's highest overall ranking came on January 20, 2014 at No. 13. During the 2014 season the squad was ranked five times, including three consecutive weeks from January 6-20. The recognition marks the fourth-straight season that Harvard has landed in the poll, and, the Crimson is 5-7 all-time when slotted in the top-15.

The Crimson continues its non-league slate Friday, Jan. 30 when it hosts Emmanuel College at the Malkin Athletic Center. The match will be broadcast on the Ivy League Digital Network, and is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
